English Transition Program

Medium Transition Course is intended to help children gain proficiency in Basic English. The course facilitates transition into English Medium education for children who have had their education in Telugu or any other medium. The course prepares the students to progress from writing simple three letter words to seven letter words and enables children to learn and write subject-related words. On completion of the Medium Transition course children are equipped with a working vocabulary in English, simple sentence structures, an ability to read and understand simple texts and the skill to write clearly and legibly. This course assumes that any child who has no knowledge of English can comfortably handle the exercises given in the books with the help of the teacher. It is also intended for children who have learnt some Basic English but lack fluency in reading, recalling and reproducing the alphabet, vocabulary and sentence structure. With the guidance and help by the teacher each and every child is made to practice and learn to read and copy write the letters understand and write words, sentences and complete simple exercises required to be comfortable with the prescribed books.
